New Air Conditioner Installation Procedure

A free estimate by our estimator can determine the correct size of air conditioning system for your home.

Our professional staff of installers will install your air conditioner as follows:

 

1.     Drop cloths will be used to cover areas through out your home.

2.     If there is an existing air conditioning unit, it will be pumped down and then the Freon shall be reclaimed and the unit will be disconnected and removed from premises.

3.     The new A coil will be set into the plenum with new plenum door, and the condenser will be set on a concrete pad at the location described in the proposal, and the insulated copper line set will be connected from the A coil to the condenser.

4.     A new condensate drain will be run to existing drain in the floor or sump pump using ¾ PVC.

5.     Optional condensate pump which is available to remove water where there is no place to drain.

6.     A new circuit breaker will be installed matching correct amp draw on condensing unit and marked in electric panel.

7.     Work area will be swept and cleaned.  All debris will be removed from premises.

8.     The a/c unit shall be started, cycled, and charged with Freon to perform to its highest efficiency.

9.     The installer will go through a checklist to assure no detail will be overlooked.

10.   A follow up Quality Control inspection will be performed within (10) days of installation.
